Being positive is not a token answer, its a commitment and a choice. It is ALWAYS looking at things on a different side. Notice I did not say sometime or when things go your way, you look at a different side. It is an always thing to do. We live in a world that consistently looks for people to mess up (just watch the television), rather than looking at the great things that are in people. Society wonder's why our world is the way it is. It is due to the fact that we are quick to blame and slow to forgive. When in fact we should be slow to blame and quick to forgive.
Jesus is our true model of the glass half full principle. He took the opportunity forgive the people that crucified him on a cross. He said in Luke 23:34, "Father, forgive them, for they don't know what they are doing." He looked at the future and the potential positive in those that did this. When he had every right to look at a situation on the other side. This is truly looking at the glass half full.
I end by challenging you to take the weekend and practice the concept of looking at the positive side. Look to catch yourself when you go negative. Awareness is the start to changing a mindset and a habit.
